About Us
The world needs fewer bystanders and more heroes
Super Kidz was born from a simple belief: that every child has the potential to become a superhero in their own way — when given the freedom, encouragement and support to grow with confidence. Founded by Alaa Osama Jalaby, an English teacher turned Montessori-certified educator, the nursery was built to give children the space to step outside their comfort zone and discover what they are capable of.
We partner with each family through focused, entertaining education, positive discipline, and consistent communication — so no parent ever wonders how their child's day went.
Why Super Kidz?
A family environment, not an institution
Children settle faster and learn better when they feel at home. Everything about the way we are set up — our size, our groups, our routines — is designed around that.
Small groups, real ratios
Eight infants with three adults. Fifteen toddlers with five. We publish every group size and every staffing figure openly rather than on request.
Montessori + play-based
Learning through play is not a slogan here — it is the method. Children problem-solve, build motor skills, and grasp real concepts through imaginative play.
Quran and three languages
Quran, Arabic, English and French run through the day as part of ordinary routines — songs, stories, greetings and instructions — not as separate lessons.
A doctor and a speech therapist
A doctor visits every week to check on the health of every child, and a speech therapist is on hand for children who need support with language and speech.
Three home-cooked meals
Breakfast, snack and lunch every day, cooked fresh on site with minimal salt, sugar and flour. The month's menu is published to parents in advance.
A parent app, not a guessing game
Every child has an account on our mobile app: daily reports, doctor's reports, monthly menus, newsletters and themes, quarterly assessments and notifications.
Built for safety
Antibacterial and anti-shock floors, glass walls that make supervision easy, and cameras throughout — viewed on site only.
Positive discipline
Firm yet kind, and connection before correction. We tell children which behaviours are acceptable and why, then give them the tools to handle the feeling next time.
Our age groups
Grouped by stage, not just by age
Children move through our nine stations as they are ready. The space is open rather than divided into closed rooms — each age group moves through it together, with its own routine and its own learning goals.
Our Curriculum
Play is how children do their serious work
Our curriculum is built on the Montessori approach, layered with Jolly Phonics for literacy and an edutainment approach that makes learning something children ask for rather than sit through.
- Play-based throughout. Concepts are met through imaginative play and real-life roleplay before they are ever named.
- Positive discipline. Firm yet kind guidance — connection before correction.
- Art as a core subject. Open-ended creative work that builds confidence and critical thinking.
- 42 letter sounds. Jolly Phonics takes children from sounds to blending, segmenting, reading and writing.
- Quran, Arabic, English and French woven into the day, not taught as separate lessons.

For the mommies who are searching for a nursery in Dokki … I strongly recommend Super Kidz Nursery. My daughter has been going there since she was 3 months old and it’s her second home. The staff are really nice and caring, and the owner Alaa Osama Jalaby has the best quality anyone would ask for, which is listening — she really takes all my picky notes into consideration and she loves the kids from all her heart ❤️. It’s a play-based nursery, which means they learn through playing and activities 😍😍.
Best nursery, best teachers, safe, loving and caring environment. It’s not only a nursery, as it’s more like a second home for our kids. They care for many aspects in our kids’ daily routines and educational knowledge, and they do this with professionalism and mostly LOVE — which is the most important thing our kids need to feel at this young age. I am really blessed to have my kids there, and I would like to thank each and everyone working at Super Kidz Nursery for the amazing work and effort done.
